Nine nights across the Reach, timed so that you arrive as Tessaly's rings turn edge-on. Aurelian Lines has sailed to Tessaly since the first regular crossings, and this season every Aurelian liner carries a gallery built for one view.

A ringed planet in silhouette against its sun, the rings glowing in a halo.
The equinox crossing arrives on the night side, with Ilyr behind Tessaly.

The equinox crossing

Four times a year the rings of Tessaly line up with Ilyr, and their shadow shrinks to a single line across the planet. Our equinox sailings leave Halcyon so that the last night of the crossing falls in that week. You spend it in the Aurelian Gallery, a curved lounge of windows on the shadow side, with the lights down and the galley open until the shadow passes.

Standard crossing

Nine nights, Halcyon to Tessaly, outer-ring cabin with a window. From 3,900 marks.

Equinox crossing

Nine nights, timed for the shadow line, with a reserved seat in the Gallery. From 4,600 marks.

On board

Every cabin is on the outer ring, where the weight is nearly full and people sleep. The galley cooks for eighty, not eight hundred. There is a library, a quiet deck with no announcements, and a doctor who has crossed more often than the captain.

Included

  • Outer-ring cabin with a window
  • All meals in the galley
  • A seat in the Aurelian Gallery on the equinox night
  • Transfer to the Veyra shuttle at Tessaly
